Taking Advantage of the Weekly $0.99 iTunes Movie Rental

I don't know many people who don't like a good movie (at least once in a while). I also don't know many people who don't like a good deal on a movie, especially if you can watch it on demand.

Did you know that iTunes offers a weekly $0.99 movie rental via the iTunes Store? If you haven't stumbled across this feature yet, you've likely missed out on some great movies at great prices! Here's how it works and where to get it.

First, you want to make sure that you are using the latest version of iTunes (no, this won't prevent you from downloading the $0.99 movie rentals, but it's always good to be current). When you're ready to check out this week's $0.99 movie rental, open iTunes and enter the iTunes Store (by clicking the "iTunes Store" button in the top right corner of iTunes). Next, click on the "Movies" section.

Scroll down just a bit and you will see a button advertising this week's $0.99 movie rental.

Movies offered here are selected by various employees at the iTunes Store division of Apple. The movie selection changes each week at (or around) 9:00p Pacific Monday night. Selections range from dramas to comedies to documentaries.

These rentals are available on all Apple devices including Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV via the iTunes Store.

If you haven't checked this out, you really should! Personally, I look forward to seeing what movie will be featured here each week. Some, of course, are better than others, but it's a great way to expose yourself to new movies each week.
